The present college of
Veterinary Medicine was reorganized in March 1991 from the Department of
Veterinary Medicine under the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to
the College of Veterinary Medicine. With its professional programs, the
college produces specialists who conduct research on the anatomy of animals
and their diseases, playing a leading role for animals' health in the central
part of Korea.
In response to the current increasing interest in life sciences, the realm
of Veterinary Medicine is expanding to broader areas such as animals, fish
diseases and bio-engineering; thus there are more chances to apply veterinary
medicine to other fields as well. |
