Humanitarian Affairs, United Kingdom cordially invites passionate leaders to participate in the 2nd University Scholars Leadership Symposium from August 1 to 7, 2011 in Pattaya, ThailandThe symposium, recognized by the United Nations Programme on Youth, strives to encourage any undergraduate, postgraduate, or young professional that wishes to learn about humanitarian initiatives to attend.  It will focus on challenging participants’ views on humanitarian relief through critical reflection, hands on experience, engaging dialogue, and program implementation. This week-long event offers a great opportunity to meet and collaborate with over 250  delegates from leading universities around the globe including those Cambridge University, Oxford University, Stanford University, University of New South Wales, Australia National University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Malaya, Universitas Indonesia, Osaka University, Tokyo University of Science, Peking University, National Taiwan University,  National Chengkung University, National Seoul University, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of the Philippines Diliman, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and many more will be sending a delegation to the Symposium.

 

The early bird registration fee before May is ?450.00 (British Pounds) while the standard price is?480.00; Moreover, with more than THREE people, it is only ?4200.00 before June.

The registration fee includes

-       six nights accommodation at a 3-star hotel, breakfast

and all activities including conference, workshops, etc, will be held at Hilton

-       airport transfer from Bangkok to Pattaya
