General Studies

General Studies is a major that lays the foundation to foster convergence studies and provides opportunities to have learning experiences in various academic fields such as humanities and social sciences. Through learning experiences in various academic fields, students develop 'free thinking ability that crosses boundaries'. Most of the lectures are conducted in the form of seminars and projects where students can solve problems and engage in creative activities on their own. Students who complete these courses will enter the convergence-type graduate school and will have the ability to study their specialized fields in depth.

The curriculum of General Studies is divided into basic areas and major areas. Courses in the basic area are organized to develop communication skills. Courses include “Academic Writing, Logic-related Subjects, and Communication”.
