Veterinary Medicine
The professional veterinary training for human and animal health and welfare

College of Veterinary Medicine specializes in the creative and educational programs through a variety of human and animal health and welfare so that contribute to improving the future-oriented and conscientious veterinarians.

We are also doing our best to prepare for professionals from treating and preventing animal diseases to food safety and medicines with various tests and experiments. We are also doing our best to train students for prevention and eradication of various diseases threatening and high-tech Biotechnology research.

Pre-Veterinary Medicine

Before start veterinary school, we require PreVet school for two years with basic science courses and several liberal arts. Students taking courses with basic science approaches to the theory and practical skills required for learning and studying for veterinary.

Those are aiming for the acquisition and formation of and amicable personality that by learning an variety of liberal arts. Those who completed two-year credits in PreVet school can be promoted to Veterinary school with 4 year system.

Veterinary Medicine

Veterinary Medicine is a study targeting whole of the theory, application and practical skills related to academic education and research in animals.
The purpose of veterinary education is to produce a great personality and leader in the field of veterinary medicine and public health sectors contributing to society. Because veterinary medicine covering wide range from the foundation of the life sciences to clinical approaches, totally 160 credits are required for graduation.
Those who completing 2 year PreVet school and 4 year Vet school studies are applicable for license exam for the veterinarian. People passing the exam can get official license for the veterinarian.

Career Opportunities

The emphasis on the social and academic importance of veterinary medicine provides more and more opportunities for graduates, including research on animal science and public health as well as animal health care.
